Photograph based slideshows with us quite simply won't be static anymore. We lovingly and individually add movement to every slide. We do this in a variety of ways, which in turn makes for a more moving experience for the audience. Watch our demo example video and you will see it makes a huge difference.
More photographs and videos
We're sure you’ll have noticed families' reluctance to enter the higher priced bands for photo numbers. No need for that with us though; we allow up to 40 photographs whilst still matching your crematorium’s lowest price category. We can also add video footage as well, which works particularly well at the beginning or end of the slideshow.
You simply won't see any transitions unless you switch to us. Why is it that one photo doesn't already slowly change to the next photo in different ways that please the eye? It's just because it's more difficult to automate and it takes longer. We aren't concerned about that and spend as long as it takes on each and every photograph to ensure it is presented in the best possible way to the family.
In our slideshows the photographs change on the beat of the music, rather than having no connection with the actual song. This level of attention to detail is only possible because our tributes are handmade by our team of perfectionists. To the family it's the only slideshow, so it’s got to be our best result every time.
As you know, some photos are chosen by families because they look good, but sometimes it's because of the occasion or other reasons. Without text, as in a basic slideshow, some attendees of the funeral don't always understand what makes a particular photo so special. Often just a few words on screen can explain the picture, which means everyone can appreciate it.
More sharpened photographs
Almost all crematorium slideshows will contain a few old photographs from when the person was younger and often they are grainy, unclear and may have been damaged over the years. The media companies don't care like we do though. We first take the time to try and sharpen every old photo to the modern standards we’re used to.
With older cameras it wasn't easy to get a decent photograph. What's more, over time colours can often fade. So whilst we're sharpening the pictures, we'll also improve some of the colours where necessary to correct this problem. In some cases we might even be able to turn a black and white photograph into a modern full colour one.
Whether a photo’s torn, has a part missing, been folded, cut up or just badly copied, we can probably fix it; this means with us you're getting a superior slideshow and even more grateful families.
We make it as simple as possible for families to send us their photos and video clips. They can choose to 'drag n drop' them into a private folder on our secure, 2TB Google Drive or if it's easier they can send them directly to us by Email or WhatsApp. If several family members are contributing, each can use their own preferred method for convenience plus we have simple guidance instructions here on the website to make it even easier. They could even share an online folder of their own with us so we can retrieve them ourselves.
More value with a free copy to keep
As former funeral directors ourselves we've noticed that a lot of families would prefer to keep a download of their loved ones' visual tribute if the crematoria didn't charge extra. We are immensely proud of the work we produce so we are pleased to provide a copy to keep to all families free of charge. It also adds an additional layer of pre-upload checking for extra reassurance.
